USDA Certified Organic Turmeric and Neem Scrub is now sitting on the bathtub rim.
Have you found the perfect scrub? That all-time go to scrub to buff, exfoliate, moisturize and leave your skin, elbows, knees, ankles, and arms feeling divine? Well, I haven’t, either. But because I don’t keep trying!
I love using scrubs and polishes to keep my skin looking and feeling her best, especially when it’s cold outside or I’ve been playing in the sand and surf.
I definitely have favorites. I like to mix up the USDA Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Scrub with the Mint Walnut polish and the Lavender Sugar Cookie scrub. And now I’ve added Turmeric and Neem Scrub. My bathroom is crowded, but my husband uses them, too, so I get away with it!
Turmeric grows wild in the forests of South and Southeast Asia, and its root is dried, pounded, and turned into a fine powder for use in food and body painting. This lovely saffron colored powder gives curry dishes their rich flavors. Peppery, savory and deeply spicy, Turmeric is a great addition to a skincare regime for both oily and normal skin. We’ve combined turmeric, mustard, neem, sea salt, grapefruit essential oil and jojoba oil to create a lovely scrub. Even if you don’t love scrubs, this one might sway you!
Already scented with Grapefruit EO to balance the tanginess of the turmeric, you can add addition EOs, perhaps a little lemon or lime, too. Or branch out and experiment with mint or basil.
I love the aromatic experience as steamy water releases the Neem and Tumeric to warm and refresh me while I feel soft skin appear when I rinse off. A simple pat with the towel and I reach for my favorite moisturizing. I really love using our Exquisite Body Oil with this, for sure.
Let’s not skip over the contribution of Neem to this spa party. Neem is a vegetable oil, expressed from the Neem tree, and evergreen endemic to the Indian subcontinent. Neem oil varies in color; it can be golden yellow, yellowish brown, reddish brown, dark brown, greenish brown, or bright red. Its hydrophobic nature is used to emulsify this dynamic duo and provide saponification.
Best of all, Essential has been awarded the U.S.D.A Certified Organic and Oregon Tilth Certified Organic seals. If you want to private label this we can help you with your paperwork since the product is already qualified.
Salts, soaks, and scrubs are indulgences I won’t ever give up. I love to soak in a hot tub, read, sip a little wine, do some scrubbing and come out feeling clean, refreshed and ready to meet the demands outside the bathroom door. So Turmeric and Neem scrub is now on my go-to list.
What scrubs and soaks to do you?
